I was seen by dr Daniel masud I was able to feel confident that things would be dealt with and comfortable speaking about what was going on he has helped with medication and helping me find someone to help with filling in forms we were offered tea coffee and hot chocolate as well as cold drinks while we waited and someone always checked on us to make sure we were ok all the staff I came into contact with were amazing and have made me feel safe in a very other wise distressing time
I felt so alone and sad . Everyone made me feel so safe. 3 cups of tea . Can't thank you all enough
Very kind and understanding staff. Compassionate and sympathetic during a difficult time was also brought tears.
They have all listened and feel like they understand what I am going though and compassionate to my situation.
Was very compassionate and tentative especially under the circumstances made us all feel safe and listened to.
The nurses were excellent and rather than going from the urgent care department to a ward I was seen there by a doctor and other people and was prescribed the right treatment to enable me to go home. So I only stayed one night.
A nurse named Hamjar (apologies for misspelled name) who was working on Sunday afternoon, went above and beyond in his care for me and my husband. He was kind, empathetic and listened and understood our situation and tried everything in his power for ages to get me into a safe space.
He is a credit to this unit and I hope others who are distraught with hopelessness see his kind ,lovely face and manner.
Thank you so much Hamjar, you have restored my faith a little, I was lucky to meet you .
Best wishes
Nadine Rickaby
They kept me safe I guess.
Currently most of the staff are not helpful, however, there are some helpful staff and they almost run the whole ward. It can become toxic and a lot of nurses and band 6/7 do not respond to emergencies quick enough. There is often abuse towards the patients from staff however this is never documented/ looked into.
